Q1. Proposed new overhead line between Bonnybridge and Glenmavis

We are proposing to build a new 275/400kV overhead line between our substation at Bonnybridge and a point near Glenmavis, where it will join on to an existing overhead line.

The new overhead line will be carried on steel towers (pylons) with a standard height of 46 metres. Each tower will have three arms on each side, and each arm will carry a set of conductors (wires).

Do you have any comments on our preferred route for the overhead line or the alternatives we considered?

Q2. Existing overhead line between Denny North and Bonnybridge

We are proposing to uprate one side of the existing overhead line (known as ZG Route) between our substations at Denny North and Bonnybridge from 275kV to 400kV.
